The papers & embellishments I used are

twine from The Twinery
I stitched around the scallop circle edge:

and I stitched a letter "P" and cut it out:
then I did something I've seen but haven't tried too much, I left the twine showing
from the back of my stitching:
& I like how fun & playful it looks next to my sweet great niece's photo's.
(gosh I love that baby girl!)

What fantastic stitching! I've only tried stitching once with embroidery floss, and it did not go well. I could barely get it through the needle because it kept fraying. I'll have to try it one day with twine!
