for our challenge:
each Design Team member combined the new CHA Summer 2011 lines:
and this is what I did:
That Girl
my journaling:
"that girl. she is a ray of sunshine. she is joy. she is beautiful. she is lovely.
she is amazing. she is silly. she is serious. she is determined. she is fabulous.
she is my favorite. she is delightful. she is loving. she is life. she is sassy.
she is wonderful. she is....MINE."
my supplies: patterned paper, fabric paper, chipboard letters, embellishments,
pen: Zig (silver paint pen), scissors: Fiskars
directions on how I created this layout:
-start with pre-printed & stitched patterned paper.
-handcut clouds from patterned papers.
-choose each line you want to use then using paper cutter, trim each strip into
different widths & lengths. (some will be border strips from your paper you're using.)
-free hand cut "v's" into the edges of some strips.
-cut chalkboard paper along the design, then using trimmer, cut in half.
-arrange the strips how you want them, then glue down.
-add the chalkboard paper shapes at top and bottom of page.
-place your photo to the right side of your page, right in the middle of the strips
-place your clouds you cut earlier above your photo.
-along the right side of your photo, arrange stickers, brad, number
(cut from patterned paper) using 3D adhesive on a few of your choice.
-add journaling sticker under photo - to the left.
-add delights sticker to top left of your photo
-add border stickers under your photo.
-using chipboard letters (Thickers) - spell out "that" at the top of your layout,
just above the clouds and "{girl}" to the bottom of your layout, just under borders.
Add "S" just to the left of borders.
-journal around the edge of your shaped paper. (and on the shaped paper, if you desire.)

-then visit ALL the designers blogs & leave comments on their posts.
