*** Well I Guess I Should Tell You Something***

I wasn't going to do this.

I made this decision 2 months ago & was just going to let it go.
Not say anything.

In fact, I was thinking of just letting this blog fade into the sunset - but I feel like I owe you,
My one (besides my sweet mama, hiiii Mom!) reader, this:

Before I say what I need to say, I want to say thank you.
Thank you to each and every person in this industry who I've had the pleasure
Dealing with. Thank you to each friend I've made, each person I've had the privilege
Of meeting & to ALL of my design teams I've had the utmost HONOR of being a part of.
Thank you so much for having faith in me. For loving each thing I've made using your products,
For sending me the product to create with. I absolutely love each and everything I've had the pleasure
To use & make memories in my albums with it all of your incredible things.

It's come time for me to step back and reevaluate where I am in life
(2 almost college graduate kids, 2 newly engaged kids (they're both engaged
to their future spouses, WHAT?!)

I'm wanting to dive more into my photography & just enjoy being me. It's time.

I will continue to scrapbook. Just for me. I've got a couple of projects I'm working
On this month for  friends & theirteams, but after that - it's back to being me.

I've moved my scrap room in a new area in my home & while it's been done and set up now for 2
Months - I've yet to make anything in there. I haven't scrapped in THAT long. I think I've lost the touch!

I started in this industry in 2005. I've been blessed. I've enjoyed each opportunity I've had
A part of. I love this hobby. I just hope I can dive back in one day.

Thank you for all of your support, love & kind words you've given me. I appreciate you so much.

Much love,
Leslie Ashe.

Oh Leslie...I will miss seeing your beautiful pages and projects on a regular basis but I am happy you are taking time to enjoy this season of your life with your beautiful family! You have inspired me in so many ways over the years but most of all I have always looked up to you for raising one beautiful girl and one handsome boy (I am kinda partial to Moms with one of each) and doing so with grace and appreciation! I don't think I have ever heard you say one negative thing about being a Mom. I don't "know" you IRL but I KNOW enough from reading here and on fb to know that you see motherhood as your greatest blessing. I wish you nothing but the best in the next chapter of your story:)
But please give us some scrappy goodness every once in awhile ok?

Giant hugs! I know how you feel, in a way. I hope that you will post your photographs on this blog and we can still keep in touch. :)

Very well said. I understand your reasoning all too well.
Your work is one of a kind. ART. It will be missed, indeed.
Loves to you always, sweet friend. xo

We go thru season's in our life. A lot of people flounder around trying to keep up doing what they "think" they need to be doing. You-young lady-have figured it out!
You're doing what makes your heart happy and since we aren't promised tomorrow-do what makes you happy! That brings more joy to your loved ones and the Lord!
have a super-fabulous-time!

You are such an inspiration...I will miss your amazing work...but can't wait to see what's in store for you in the future! You are amazing!

Good for you, Leslie! I made the same decision last summer when I started my horse boarding business. Scrapbooking is supposed to be for YOU and not for what a manufacturer or kit club is wanting you to do to promote their business. You are an amazing scrapbooker and I hope that the passion strikes you again once you're able to remove the pressure of it (not that you mentioned that in your post, I just know from experience).

Good for you Leslie! You need to do what's best for you and what your heart tells you. You are a string confident woman and an incredible artist and designer. Whichever path you choose from here on out know that you will be successful!!!

It should be all about what's best for you. Once you take some of the pressure off, your creative mojo will return and your art will be more beautiful than ever. Lots of grand babies to scrap will most likely be in the future but now you have 2 wedding to help plan. I'm sure much of your energy and talents will be spent at these special events! Have fun and enjoy your family. It is what life is all about.

Wait, your son is engaged too?? How did I miss that! CONGRATS!

I am so super sad that you're stepping away, but I totally understand. Some days I am just so burnt out and don't know how I'll come up with one more layout! You're courageous for doing this! I loved working with you for so many years at American Crafts! I'll be following along your new adventures!
