happy Monday!

today I'm here to share some projects I recently did that I am
SO excited about!!

I was asked to be a guest for the lovely Teresa Collins!
I got to play with 2 of her amazing new lines: 
Summer Stories (Spring 2013 release) &
He Said, She Said (Winter 2013 release).
Talk about a dream come true!
I've always loved Teresa's designs.
I had the privilege of meeting Teresa at CHA a few
years back - she's such a sweet, fun, amazing lady!

Thanks so much for having me, I loved this opportunity so much!

Here's my creations:

*Flower Week with American Crafts*

hi everyone! It's Spring and that means....

*I Got It From My Mama*

as Will I am would say...
That title. It's so funny, but so true.
This child is a CLONE of her mama.
I mean, I've seen families resemble families.
I see it in my own kids. BUT I've NEVER seen
a literal clone like this. Presley is Taylor made OVER.

But for now...
here's:  "I Got It From My Mama"

this layout was made for Noel Mignon using May's
Country Lane kit. That kit is so beautiful! I love it so much,
I'm hoarding some of the papers until I just HAVE to use them. HA!

I decided to make my album a "monthly" edition of photo shoots
with my kids since they're both away at college. These shoots will be

happy taco Tuesday! If you're feasting on Taco's today..enjoy!
I'm so happy WW is taco friendly, I may have one today myself!

I know you're not here to talk about tacos or even Tuesdays!
So I'll share a little project that means the WORLD to me with you.

I'm very honored to be on the Lily Bee Blog today alongside 2 very talented
ladies - Wendy Sue Anderson & Adrienne Alvis
Wendy designed a sketch for us today on this Sketch Challenge Tuesday
& since our focus on the team this week is "moms/mommyhood" - our layouts
will reflect that in some way or another.

My layout is all about my precious great niece, Presley.
Presley is a light. She's the light that walks in the room & makes
it brighter. She's so cute, so precious, so funny, so charming, so amazing!
I'm biased, yes...but this child - she's spectacular!
Here's my layout - "I La La Love You"

I used this amazing cut file by Loni Stevens from Silhouette for my title.
I had to - it's not every day you see a "la la love you" file when you're called lala! LOL!


my journaling reads: 
She calls me "lala" (aunt lala). I call her PresPres.
She's only 2 years old & has NO idea (yet) what a MIRACLE
she is. She comes from a miracle (her mama, my niece Taylor) who @ 19
years old fought & WON the brave battle of cancer (stage 2A Hodgkins Lymphoma)
& after chemo & radiation, was told she would never have babies.
God had BIG plans for T. & I know He's got even BIGGER plans for little
Princess P.♥
To see her mom go through a disgusting disease & in the end win this as a prize.
She's blessed. P. is blessed too - with her amazing mama & daddy.

(gum quote:  Monica from Friends. I died when I heard her
say that when she met her nephew for the first time. I decided then and ther
that will always be my line for my new nieces/nephews.)

Hi everyone! Did you have a wonderful NSD (National Scrapbook Day)
celebration? I was so busy with family events - I only got to make a few things...
yesterday! But I loved it. I don't even need a holiday to make crafty things -
I consider EVERY day NSD :D

It's my Monday on the Noel Mignon blog &
today I'm back to share with you a layout I did  based on being a mom.

This coming weekend we will celebrate being a mom, having a mom, just all
things about mom/mommyhood.

I think it's truly a wonderful gift I've been given -
just being THEIR mama:

 

I used the new May kit:  Country Lane (which is unfortunately sold out!)

I did add some vellum - I loved how it looked with my dark background, making
it somewhat softer around my cute kids pic :D
Just used a little bit of embellishments that reflect how special they are to me
& waaa laaa- this quick  layout is the outcome.
