I'll admit it.
Margarita (s) make me giddy.
Especially the American Crafts kind.

I'm apologizing profusely in advance for the awful colors
of everything you're about to see.
I must have touched a setting
on my camera (that's now been fixed, yay!!)
and couldn't get these to edit just right...
but my motto is: once the photo's taken, let it be.

So here you are...
my June American Crafts creations, featuring Margarita:

(Galveston...gosh I loved it there.
Weird..I'm FROM Texas and before these photo's..
I'd NEVER been there. What!?~)

(I cheated...I added some Hello Sunshine to this card...
which, btw...was super easy to make!)

that's my cabana boy...
jk jk...
it's my hubba hubba hubby!
That's our trip to South Padre a few years back....
(my FAVE Texas beach! Too bad it's only what...10 hours to get there! yuck...)

hope you've enjoyed this little sip of Margarita!
when I first received it,
I hoarded it to no end.
I wouldn't let myself use it because it was so pretty,
I didn't want to cut into it!
Not to mention...when you receive AC goodies?
no lie...
anyway, I finally cut into it
and used some of our family beach pics
which I still have 3847383783738738373 more...

Hope you're having a lovely day!
Come back tomorrow for yet...another FABULOUS giveaway!
This time from one of my dear sweet friends!
see you tomorrow!

*Just Tell Me...HOW?*

Yes please...
time - you need to have your brakes adjusted.
I mean really...

I made this layout with the June kit
The journaling had to stand out on this page - I just took a series
of these photo's of my daughter and when I saw made me
want to tell her how I can hardly believe she's GROWN.
Anyway...without getting all mushy - mushy...
you can click the layout to read the journaling up close.
I love that girl - truly, madly, deeply!

Here's more of my creations I did for LBD
A snapshot of my husband after his big race this past fall -
He does do it all. Rides, runs, even cleans and cooks!
He's a keeper! His resilience amazes me.
I'm one lucky lucky girl ♥

the girl as she headed to her first year of college at Baylor University
she loved her year there...we did too!
but her heart led her further south to College Station
where she is now ...gosh I miss her!

that she is....when I saw that girly silhouette - I immediately knew what photo's to
use and I already had the Kobi Yamada quote handy so it made for
the perfect page!

I made this little card with my dad in mind for Father's Day.
I love how it turned out!

just a simple little card with some paper pleating.
that's all my June LBD projects!
Go get that kit. Really. It's JAM packed with fun goodies.
Enjoy it!

Before I go...
I wanted to leave you with a little snippet of something I have
up at the American Crafts blog
 using more POW! Glitter paper.
I'm telling you - you MUST have some of this's the best!

have a wonderful day!

*Echo Park and a HUGE Giveaway*

I ♥ Echo Park!
I absolutely love Echo Park.
To me, each of their designs scream:  create with me!

I was so excited to be asked to Guest Design for June!
Excited, honored & did I mention excited?

It was so fun to create with their gorgeous products!
here's some of the things I did:
I found an old frame, took out the glass & used "For The Record"
to create this frame of my 2 gifts ♥

have you seen the super CUTE line "At The Playground?"
I LOVED each and every playful detail in there...
I made this card using the line .
I am in love with that tree with the swing on it!

"For The Record" is one of my very favorite lines,
I played on the "title" of the line
for this layout of my daughter and husband

Again, I used "At The Playground" for this friend card.
I had such fun putting it together!

and the first layout above of my son was made using
"Dots & Stripes - Metropolitan"
I thought it was PERFECT for some of his SR. pictures .

and finally...this little card:
made with For The Record...

Thank you SO MUCH Echo Park
for having me as your June guest!!
I can't even begin to tell you  how much fun I had!

Be sure to check out the Echo Park Blog today

Now, how about....
How about a giveway with the papers I got to work with?
That's right!
I have THIS for you:

the very lines I got to use for my creations!
A lucky winner will get all 3 of these fun collections...
now if you love Echo Park like I do..

*Life Lines*

You know, I was born to do this.
Be their mom.
this is the most fun I've had my entire life.
I don't consider this a job.
I consider it a GIFT
and with this gift...I cherish.
I'm doing the best that I possibly think I can.
I fall...but I get right back up...
There's days I don't get out of my jammies and have bed hair
(did I really just admit that? HA!)

the bright and sunny days totally outnumber the falling on my butt days...
and I'm lucky...
all because I got to do this.

Be THEIR mom....

they are my life lines.
it's so hard to believe that in the blink of an eye, they're ADULTS.
what the what!
gosh i love those 2 silly kids!

but enough of the mushy...
I made this layout for Glue Arts.
Clear Scraps was our sponsor & I had so much
fun using this bracket acrylic sheet...
I stamped and painted it :D

To see the complete directions and some up close shots,
just go to the Glue Arts blog to check it out!

and just wanted to say...

(via:  Pinterest)
for the congrat's to me for making the Prima team...
you are the SWEETEST friends a girl could have!
Thank you so so much.
I'm STILL on clouds.

Have a lovely day...back soon!

I really get to display that blinkie!
I am so excited!

This is a DREAM come true!
I honestly, seriously, really, truly ...
CANNOT believe my name is in that list of extremely talented ladies!

I'm not seeing things, am I??!

Thank you Prima, thank you!
Check out the BLOG for the announcement
Just LOOK at this list of inspirational girls:

When I got the news from Sharon that I made the
team, I was just like a little girl who'd just woken
up to see the gift of her dreams on Christmas morning.

I ran through my house literally jumping up and down,
screaming with joy.
The dogs were barking & I watched as my husband
looked at me with bewilderment.
you know, that deer in headlights look?
yeah. He had that. ha!!

When I finally stopped jumping up & down,
he looked at me & said
"Congrats, let's go celebrate!"

We went to dinner with friends
and it was a LOVELY evening.
just what I needed.

this has been such a wonderful week.
a week I TRULY needed.
I feel quite blessed.

Have a beautiful day!
