*Twenty in Twelve*

Someone has gone and grown up on me.
like overnight.
Today this guy

is 20 years old. WHAT! Wasn't he just born yesterday?
I know, every parent says that & means that -
but really, wasn't he? My sweet son.
He's grown into such a wonderful man!
So tall, so handsome, so amazing.

He's smart, witty, handsome, fabulous, charming,
loving, kind hearted, makes you laugh so hard your chest hurts kind of funny,
crazy, amazing boy.
I'm sad we didn't get to see him today on his day - but he's down at school
getting ready for his finals & will be home next week & we'll celebrate BIG then!
I put this together on my iPhone:

In honor of his special 20th birthday I'm sharing a few of my favorite
layouts of him:

Love you son. You sweet SWEET boy.
You're the light of both your dad's & my life.
You are the sunshine to my grey skies.
the light to my darkness.
I don't know if you'll ever know the amount of pride, love & joy you bring us.
Thank you for the past 20 years.
Can't wait to see what 20 plus more bring!
Study hard...see you soon.

Also - I wanted to share a little something with you that's going on over at
Cocoa Daisy (kit club!) this weekend. A HUGE weekend crop!
I was asked to participate in one of the challenges using Crafter's Workshop
6x6 Stencil by Julie Balzer - this one is called "blazonry".
here's what I created:

closer:

Go check the crop out!
Here's all the happenings going on over there this weekend
(tomorrow's the last day!)

I also promise I haven't forgotten to pick my winners from the Echo
Park post below - I'll have my winners posted Monday.
This birthday boy has kept me on my toes the past few days!

Have a great weekend,
xo.

and he calls...
"you're going to laugh. I'm not supposed to be here

Have a happy Friday!

*My Guys*

Hi friends!
It's already Wednesday & I can't EVEN believe it!

Just a quick post today to share how much I LOVE my guys:

I made this layout for American Crafts and used the FUN Amy Tangerine line.
along with some new Dear Lizzy Neapolitan embellishments...

Here's a few close ups:

Thanks for letting me share with you today!
Did you have a good Easter?
We did!! I had so much FUN with my family I never got my big camera out for ANY photos!
It was a little bittersweet for me - to be honest.
It's my first Easter without Shaypher being there...WEIRD.
I know there's more to come, but wow, that was just way odd!

Oh! because I'm feeling sappy - I'll give my blog hop winners from
THIS POST another couple of days to respond - if they don't....you other posters
will get a chance to win goodies from each blog hop!

That's it for me today!
I have to get to the post office to get some projects shipped!
Have a great one...

*Prima Fun*

Hi everyone! It's almost TGIF!
Is it weird that every day to me is almost TGIF?
my days run together like mad.

It's almost Easter! Just a few more days!
Wow...it's hard to believe March blew in like the wind
and now it's April. Wait...wasn't it just Christmas?
Today I'm sharing some layouts I've done for Prima
that remind me of Spring....

First up is my beautiful girl -

To see the beautiful Prima supplies, simply visit the Prima blog
For this layout, I used the gorgeous Pan Pastels plus some Ranger ink -
I really like the effect the ink had on the pastels - there's a slight "red" line
around each dot. Way cool...

Here's some close ups of my details:

and next up we have my family - from one of our trips to Tennessee & North Carolina:
This layout was created using the Prima Build A Page for April:
(Remember how I am about sketches? I STINK at them...
but....I love to be challenged by them so this is my layout:)
and a few detail shots:

To see all the gorgeous creations by the Design Team -
click on the Prima Blog & you'll also see all the supplies used.

and finally - this layout of my sweet friends that was created around the Prima April
Palette - and this palette was FULL of gorgeous Spring colors.

Here's my layout:

You might recognize a couple of those girls in my photo.
My SWEET sweet friend Wendy (Reed) Hammer flew in from Las Vegas
for a visit (which, I've yet to share what little photo's we got when she was here! I'll
save that for another post) - and we met up with my other SWEET sweet friend
Daniela Dobson for a fun day in Waxahachie (which another dear friend met us
to shop - Kim Garner...LOVE her!). We shopped at the loveliest scrapbook store
& ate next door at a YUMMY place called The Dove's Nest. Here we are
having our tea together...I love those girls. That was the BEST day!!

so here's a few detail shots of that layout:
(I also used Pan Pastels for this layout -
to see my supplies, click on the Prima Blog
Don't forget to check out all the beautiful Design Team work!

Well that's it for today - I've got something to share from American Crafts
& I promise I'll get it posted Monday!

also, you winners from my former blog hops -
I haven't heard from you. If I don't hear from you by Monday morning - when I post
my American Crafts creation, I'll draw new winners & post then too.

Have a great day before TGIF & Happy Easter everyone!
