*That Happened + CHA Goods*

I'm here to tell you something.

I have an addiction. A HUGE addiction. I'm almost afraid to admit it.
When I first saw this item hit the market I was for sure saying....
"no way. not going to use it. ever. like EVER."
Then I got some in a kit. (that sounds funny, ha!)
I thought I had to use it...you know, peer pressure got the best of me.
(in a scrappy sort of way...wait, what were YOU thinking?)

I'm addicted to....

in the worst sort of way. I think of a thousand different ways to use it.
I've recovered my Undo bottle.
I've attempted to recover an old iPhone cover (must mod podge it)
I almost redid my cabinets in my scrap room with it. Then decided...nahhh, better not.

It's in a basket next to me, tempting me:

"use me...use me..."
ok..no need to push me. I will, gladly!
See why I'm tempted? Lots of pretty colors, textures & designs!
YUM. Washi tape is the best ever.
And? Who needs a bandaid?
just drop a cotton ball on that owie & tape away.

and I had the best time using washi on my washi obsessed layout.
Here's a few closer shots!

and I have a secret. Well it's not really a secret but I have the BEST
place for you to get your washi! It's Paper Issues.
HURRY, go now. If you go and you use this:

you get 20% off!! How fun is THAT! Go have some washi shopping fun!!

And now, I'd like to share a few things I did
for Elle's Studio for CHA. I used her brand new line "You and Me"
which now has coordinating 12x12 patterned papers!
You can order on January 31'st when she has them in the shop!

well that's it for me today!
I'll be back tomorrow with more CHA fun!

*Noel Mignon January + CHA tidbits*

Hi everyone!
I'm officially the WORST blogger. I know. I'm sorry!

I promise to share my CHA projects THIS week.
In fact...
at the END of this post - I will share a little snippit of
projects I made.
Every day I'll share something new I did -
maybe even more than one.

But first - I'm sharing a couple of layouts I made for Noel Mignon using
January's "Soda Shoppe" kit.
I couldn't get ENOUGH of this kit.
I just kept creating and creating.
I could have gone on for days. That's how fabulous
Noel's kits are. They are JAM packed full of goodness!

"Shine Bright Like A Diamond"

Thanks Rihanna , for the inspiration!
Perfect for my girl & her 22n'd birthday
pics - especially of her new killer Steve Madden's - they're full of swarovsky's.
She wanted them so bad - she shopped and shopped for the perfect pair.
They literally jumped in her hands. Well I mean feet.

The Glitz design frame fit perfectly for my iPhone shot of her sassy shes.
Each word describes her & her special day.

The Glitzer clouds...yum.

Here's another layout I did using this kit:

 "Oh Snap!"

and one more:
"Teeny Tiny Piggies"

I hope you have as much fun as I did playing with this fun kit!

Saturday I received my February "Lasting Love"  kit:

OH my gosh....I wanted to SWIM in it!
Unfortunately - it's sold out, but Noel made a "papers only" kit

and finally - to end this post today, CHA snippets:

Happy Monday everyone,
Leslie

*I Call You...Lilly Vanilli*

Happy Monday friends!

Today I'm stopping by with a layout I did for the Noel Mignon blog
using the delicious January Soda Shoppe kit, which you can get right here: Soda Shoppe
(and trust me...you WANT this kit!)

I call you...Lilly Vanilli:

Lilly (Pulitzer) is the most photogenic puppy we've ever had. She's so full of personality
it's unreal. She's always a ham for any camera, especially our iPhones.

Sometimes when I sweet talk to her - I call her little "lilly vanilli" -
which to some of you would probably make NO sense other than it rhymes...
but it's a play on the old 80's band - Milli Vanilli. LOL!
We're just lucky her name happened to rhyme.

I wanted her real name to stand out so I used the American Crafts Thickers that

are in the kit for her name. I added "vanilli" using Studio Calico's letter stickers
stacked - with a cute little Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic flower to the side.

In this kit, Noel included super cute little chevron paper bags.
They were PERFECT to hold my journaling on each side of my photo's.
I cut the Elle's Studio 5x7 card that came in my kit in half
& journaled on each side, tucking into my sacks.
I really like how that turned out.

I had some leftover heart thought bubbles from an earlier project that I
decided to back in the dark (black) woodgrain paper to stand out.
I made it 3D and added "I call you" to the top.

I also cut out an Elle's Studio flag and added it to my straw
photo corners I created. The straws were a FUN addition to the kit this month!
There's so many ways you can use them. As a border, stems to flowers, make cute little
lollipops, embellish with them, use as a letter or cut for a word -
here I used them as photo corners, framing my 2 Instagrammed photo's of
our Lilly Vanilli...

The MME Dots are addicting, fun and just cute as all get out.
I thought they looked like pieces of candy added here to Lilly's page.

I also decided to use packaging from Glitz Design's Glitzers pack -
I cut the "hello friend" from there and placed just above our Lilly girl.

and finally - here's a glimpse at my journaling that's tucked into my little bags.
SO cute!

I hope you've enjoyed my inspiration today -
I promise to share CHA projects - starting tomorrow!

have a great Monday!
xoxo.
